Nice piece. I'd argue the Web3 people knew exactly what it was -- their latest scam to milk the army of cryptides who were too ignorant to understand you have no sellable product if people don't know what your selling. Web3 never made any sense. Kind of like crypto, which had the rug pulled out from under it last year.
