Nope, car makers are still in the business of building cars. That will never change. And how much more data can you possibly need? The problem is using the data and you need all kinds of sensors for that, not just cameras. You're buying into Silicon Valley's BS. They want you to think that data is so important because that's all they have to sell -- data. Give these articles a read:

A lot of AI theorists completely disagree with you on no one being able to catch up to Tesla. Many of the smart ones say the exact opposite. They say Tesla has made a bad bet on only using cameras and no matter how much data you collect, you still won't be able to crunch the numbers fast enough to make FSD safe.
