Not in Macau, it borders on China and there's 1.4B people over there, many of whom are gamblers. Plus, the casinos are always on the lookout for those with deep, deep pockets -- and there are a lot of those in China as well. It's not a zero-sum game when your player pool is almost endless. The casinos not in Macau would prefer getting as much money as they can as quickly as possible as that also reduces their expenses, right? There are a lot employee expenses associated with gambling, so the quicker these casinos can nab that money, the better -- at least that's their philosophy. You'd be right if there wasn't an endless pool of gamblers to reap money from, but, in many cases, there are. Macau is doing gangbusters business right now, as is Vegas. The only thing that stopped it in the last few years was COVID. That says it all...
