One day, people will realize all they're buying isn't really the art, it's the link to the art and links aren't copyrightable so they're buying something they can't really own. The art can also be copied by anyone. Beyond that, have you seen this "art"? It's mostly homages to horrendous '70s album covers or something that could be created on a text-to-image AI generator like MidJourney. Some of it is horrendous. FYI, the piece that was bought for $60M was bought by a bunch of guys who own a ton of this art, so it was an attempt to prop up the market as much as a market trying to find its price level. All-in-all, it's buyer beware; the first Tweet was sold as an NFT for $2.6M and can now be bought for $690.00. Bubbles go pop...
